​Hello, I’m Monique Laraway ​​(she/they)! I’m an eco-conscious painter and illustrator creating work in traditional and digital mediums. My background in sustainable transportation, environmental conservation and working in community spaces has influenced the type of projects I create.  In 2021, I dove in head first into freelance art and am enjoying the variety of projects and opportunities that arise in this creative field.

A few of my favorite things: working small scale; using reclaimed materials; navigating the city and trails by bicycle; dreaming of more sustainably interconnected resources; and learning from the symbiotic relationships of small creatures in their natural habitats​​.​
